Numerous system configurations easily accommodate a wide variety of examination

Thanks to a wide variety of R/F table types, high-voltage generators, X-ray tubes, detectors (I.I. or FPD) and digital processing units, FLEXAVISION allows you to create an optimal system that accommodates both your patient throughput requirement and all your examination types. Even though the system is compact, its rapid movement and wide patient coverage allow for precise positioning in the area of interest. This ensures easy selection of the optimal system for almost all your demands in everyday examination, from thoracic and abdominal examinations to orthopedics, pediatrics, urology and emergency use.

Flexavision F3 Package - FPD for 3 solutions

Dynamic and 14x17" (35x43cm) Large Size FPD

 

F3 package is equipped with dynamic 14x17 inches (35x43 cm) flat panel detector. The large size detector enables almost all your routine examinations, from thoracic and abdominal examination to orthopedics, urology, pediatrics and gastrointestinal examinations.

 








Single FPD Solution

 

The dynamic FPD is detachable from the table and it is available also for plain x-rays with wall stand, on the tabletop or wherever inside the room. Your examination room will be upgraded to multi-purpose use.

 



Pursuit of Lower Dose

 

Pulsed fluoroscopy needs only a half dose of continuous fluoroscopy. BH (beam hardening) filter cuts unnecessary soft x-ray for imaging and can be automatically set depending on the program of general radiographic use. Grid is removable from the table and it is very effective for much lower dose required especially in pediatrics and gynecology.

 

Wide Range of Clinical Application

 

The system can be configured as you wish. Elevating table is good feature for patients in wheelchairs or moving patients from stretcher. For orthopedics and gastrointestinal examinations, oblique x-ray projection expands the availability. Various optional accessories as well as system configuration offer you wider variety of clinical operations.

Digital Technology Ensures High Image Quality

 

FLEXAVISION provides outstanding image quality. The high-performance, 1-megapixel CCD camera (HB, FD types) allows 1024 x 1024 matrix and 12-bit (4096 gradation) imaging. This ensures image quality of high definition and high-density resolution. Shimadzu's digital processing is applied to suppress halation and provide clear images with superb contrast for realtime image review.

 


Efficient Examination Workflow

 

Controls for FLEXAVISION R/F table operation and the high-voltage generator are concentrated in a single operation console to ensure a smooth and accurate workflow for all types of examinations. Systems incorporating a digital image processor use the highly flexible Windows® operating system to provide realtime image viewing via simple mouse or keyboard operation. Optional DICOM-network compatibility simplifies printing and image transfer to a server, ensuring an overall high-quality workflow.

FLEXAVISION moves quickly to support a variety of examinations and provides wide-range coverage that can minimize patient movement.

 


Digital Technology Ensures High Image Quality

 

FLEXAVISION provides outstanding image quality. The high-performance, 1-megapixel CCD camera (HB, FD types) allows 1024 x 1024 matrix and 12-bit (4096 gradation) imaging. This ensures image quality of high definition and high-density resolution. Shimadzu's digital processing is applied to suppress halation and provide clear images with superb contrast for realtime image review. Multi-cassette spot film device (HB, SF types) provides similar digital image capture, enabling efficient image review during urological and abdominal examinations that require a wide viewing field.




FLEXAVISION HB also has SFD that support multi size Cassette up to 14" x 17". The Cassette is easily loaded from the front side without Cassette tray, and quickly delivered to the front of the I.I., ensuring high-quality imaging by right timing.
